Pour trois mois, papa s’en va.

Le réveil sonne. Ce matin comme tous les matins, je m’agite. Je déjeune avec maman, avec papa. Dans le salon, le sac à dos de papa attend. La valise est déjà partie dans le premium depuis quelques jours déjà.

Aujourd’hui papa s’en va.

Mon papa est un gendarme, un futur chef vous savez ! Ce matin il part pour une mission outre-mer. Le soleil, les cocotiers, une mission qui pourrait faire rêver…mais moi j’attends papa. Maman se prépare, maman me sourit mais elle triste car papa s’en va. Soudain, j’entends des pleurs dans la chambre d’à côté, c’est Luca. Luca c’est mon petit frère. C’est tout nouveau pour moi. Je partage maintenant le cœur de mes parents. Luca n’a que 28 jours. Il est si petit, mais papa s’en va.

Je vais à la crèche vous savez, c’est bien là-bas. Il a beaucoup de jouets, des copines, des copains et plein de nouvelles idées.

Maman pousse la poussette, papa me tient la main. Il y a quelques rayons de soleil qui viennent réchauffer doucement le rond de mes joues. Le vent fait danser les feuilles, il y en a de toutes les couleurs : des jaunes, des rouges, des orangées. C’est joli l’automne, c’est comme la couleur du doudou renard dans la chambre de bébé.

Papa me fait un bisou, un câlin, il reste un peu plus longtemps que d’habitude. Je lui fait un grand sourire, le même que celui de maman.

La journée est terminée, maman vient me chercher. Papa n’est pas là, mince alors moi qui attendait mon gâteau au chocolat !Maman me tient la main pour rentrer, moi je suis un peu fatigué, si papa était là je pourrai lui dire :

– papa cheval, papa cheval !!!

Il m’attraperait et me ferait monter sur ses épaules ! C’est trop bien d’être avec papa. Avec lui, je suis comme un chevalier mais aujourd’hui, pour trois mois, papa est parti. Maman ne me le dira pas mais ce matin elle a accompagné papa à la gare. Il était avec toute son unité. Lorsque les barrières se sont fermées et que le train s’est approché, maman avait le cœur serré. Je crois que même quelques larmes ont coulé. Maman est l’amoureuse de papa, elle n’aime pas quand il doit s’en aller.

Papa n’est pas là depuis 2 semaines déjà. Nous sommes allés chez papy et mamie. Maman est un peu fatiguée. Luca la réveille tout le temps et moi, même si j’adore mon nouveau petit frère, parfois j’aimerais ne pas la partager. Je fais alors des caprices et parfois je me mets à bouder. Plus souvent qu’avant alors, maman est épuisée.

Les jours passent. J’ai beaucoup joué avec papy, manger les gâteaux de mamie, fait des câlins à maman mais moi ce qui me manque c’est d’aller faire un tour avec papa, sur mon petit vélo, avec papa on adore se promener.

Le soir, papa n’est plus là pour me lire les histoires mais je le vois dans le téléphone. Quand il appelle, je peux lui faire des coucous et envoyer des bisous. Parfois le téléphone ne marche pas très bien, moi je ne sais pas lire mais sur l’écran il y a tout le temps cette phrase qui s’écrit :

« mauvaise connexion ». Maman me dit que si le téléphone ne fonctionne pas très bien c’est parce que là-bas, où est papa, il pleut fort fort parfois.

Ce soir, papa me manque. J’ai fait une nouvelle croix sur le calendrier. Il faut encore attendre mais je sais que dans quelques mois je retrouverai papa. Luca lui, aura vraiment bien grandi.

Les jours et les semaines passent. Ce n’est pas si facile vous savez. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi Papa n’est pas avec moi. Ce soir, pour calmer mes larmes, maman m’a raconté un secret. Ne le dites pas trop fort mais n’oubliez pas, mon papa à moi c’est un peu comme un super héros, il porte même un uniforme contre les méchants et pour la loi.

Mon papa nous a demandé de l’attendre, Maman me dit que là-bas ils ont besoin de lui.

Moi je m’appelle Léo, j’ai 2 ans, et ce 06 novembre au matin, pour vous protéger, papa s’en va.
